Whether you’re looking to save money on regular maintenance, learn how to dial in your perfect setup, or dive into the craft of fretwork and electronics, these classes will give you the knowledge and confidence to work on your own instruments.

Learn how to adjust action, intonation, and neck relief for your guitar’s optimal playability. Covers string changes, cleaning routines, adjusting relief, action, and intonation, and become familiar with some tools of the trade. Walk away able to confidently perform your own setups.

Level, crown, and polish frets under expert guidance. Includes fret-end dressing for comfort and a deep dive into evaluating fret wear. Ideal for guitarists serious about long-term instrument care.


Learn the fundamentals of how your guitar’s electronics actually work. This class covers the basics in a hands-on way, perfect for players who want to stop guessing and start understanding. You will learn how pickups, volume and tone controls, capacitors, and output jacks function, how to safely use a soldering iron, and how to fix common issues like scratchy pots, loose jacks, and noisy circuits. Walk out knowing how to diagnose simple problems and make your guitar sound and feel better.

Shape, slot, and polish a custom bone nut from start to finish. Covers nut height, slotting technique, and final finishing. Each student leaves with a pro-level custom nut for their own guitar.

Format & Details
We currently offer one-on-one sessions for personalized instruction, giving each student the chance to learn directly with tools and guitars in front of them. While group classes are planned for the future, our shop can only accommodate one student at a time right now. Lessons are beginner-friendly with clear, practical guidance, yet detailed enough to engage advanced hobbyists who want to deepen their skills.
